Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. That's relativity.

What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.
You take the blue pill, the story ends. Your browser closes and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland. And, I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
I offer only the truth, nothing more.

Today we remember, giving respect and tears and silence to the Seven.
Our rocket riders. Our space explorers.
Members of this human race that have screamed into the darkness above us, on rockets of steel and fire. Into the silent, starry vacuum….past the wild blue yonder.
The Columbia Seven:
Rick Husband
William McCool
Michael Anderson
Kalpana Chawla
David Brown
Laurel Clark
Ilan Ramon
Incinerated in the fiery fury of the stratosphere screaming by at mach 18…..vaporized in an instant while trying to reave our atmosphere open…to return…to be with their loved ones again.
These were our rocket-riders. Our space men…they took the risks and spit in the face of gods to blast into the starry maw that surrounds us for eternity.
I try to imagine the final instants when the heat tiles were raped away and were stripped into the mach 18 slipstream…the fiery screams and the instant of the realization that it was all over…life was over and they were going to die….i cannot imagine that….
Take some time today. Be silent and think of our rocketmen and their families…..imagine the heart-pains….be silent and remember those that have been incinerated into the ether….
Take the time and hold the ones you love…life is fleeting and fragile….there may be no tomorrow….
From all of me to all of you: live and love, there is not anything more….
…may the souls of our RocketMen rest in peace….
